Facts: Client charged with 5 armed robberies/robberies in company. Following plea negotiations client pleaded guilty to 4 of the offences. Offences have a guideline judgment (Henry’s Case) recommending sentence of 4-5 years imprisonment. Client was under 18 at time of offences.

Result: due to the serious nature of the offences, the matters proceeded from the Children’s court to the Parramatta District Court for sentence.  Notwithstanding the serious penalties available, the client received combination of bonds, CSO and suspended sentence.
