Facts –Client was on a bond for Mid Range Drink Driving. Client then detected speeding more than 40km over speed limit at Mid North Coast while driving from Sydney to Far North Coast with a reading in the High Range. In the Local Court client sentenced to 6 months imprisonment and disqualified for 3 years.
Result – On appeal in the District Court the client received a suspended sentence and was disqualified from driving for 2 years and was eligible to receive and Interlock Driving Licence after 6 months.
