Represented by Solicitor: Jasmina Ceic

Facts: Client lodged an appeal against the RTA’s decision to suspend his licence for an offence of exceeding the speed limit above 30km/h. This offence carries an automatic suspension of licence for 3 months. The client provided evidence that the speed zone that he travelled in had changed from 110km/h down to 80km/h. Although the area was signposted as 80km/h, he missed the sign. The client also provided evidence about his need for a licence in relation to his work as a builder.
Result: Appeal upheld. Suspension overturned. Happy client!
