CASE STUDY – District Court Appeal – Conviction Appeal – All Grounds Appeal

The facts: Client given an infringement notice; followed by police and arrested for assault police, resist police, intimidate police and other charges. Found guilty in Local Court despite significant contradictions by police officers.

On Appeal: Convictions overturned. Judge commented that the only person that was assaulted was the client by a police officer. Civil proceedings commenced against NSW Police.
